Podcasting

It refers to the editing of short audio contents. They are stored on a server and people can download one at anytime and update it if there is a suite of it available. So you download it for example in "Itunes" and it will be updated automatically whenever you launch the application. Podcasts can be done by individuals or firms, for example radios such as RFI have podcasted some of their programmes to allow people to donwload their favourite ones and listen to them whenever they want. Podcasting is also a new way of consuming cultural or entertainment products and it enables anybody to edit a content and share it with others by publishing it.
