Pay-on-demand TV

It refers to a system that enables to download and watch TV programmes at any time. By paying a subscrition to a supplier, you have access to their database and can download the shows you have paid for. It includes movies, music, shows,... It also participates to the personalization of TV. It is part of the same process as TiVo and timeshiting. We can imagine how powerful the internet suppliers are going to be thanks to these new facilities.
