Click and mortar company

It refers to a company which proposes activities (services, products,...) on the web and outside the web. For example, "Nouvelles frontières" has agencies through which it sells its tourist products and a website that enables it to sell also its products directly to the consumers. So it allows the click and mortar companies to benefit from the avantages of both distribution network but it also contributes to cannabalizing their market. Indeed, by being on the web, they take some consumers off their traditional activities (outside the web). One of the perfect examples of that, it is the newspapers such as"Le monde" because by proposing a free version of their newspaper on the web, somehow they reinforce the decrease of the selling of their real newspapers.
